The Contest:
Create a Firefly/Serenity inspired art work. It can be 2D, 3D, or digital/computer rendered.

The Rules:
- Create a work of art!
- Submit a picture or a link to a picture of the artwork you created to this thread on the Browncoats site: http://browncoats.serenitymovie.com/serenity/index.html?fuseaction=for

- If you would like to submit more than 1 picture of your item (which I highly suggest), or if you have trouble posting pics, please email them to my gmail account: kerrek@gmail.com. Make sure to post to the thread that you submitted art pics!
- All pictures of artworks must be submitted by Sunday, June 19th at 11:59pm.
- Maximum 2 submitted art works per person
- Anything I deem unfit for viewing will not be considered for the contest (as in, no pornography or other questionable material)

What I need from you:
Name
Home State (city optional)
Type of work (ex: painting, charcoal drawing, sculpture, photo, etc)
Medium/Materials used
Physical dimensions of the work
A *brief* statement about the piece (at least a title!)
Picture(s)

How the contest works:
I will post the pictures I receive of the artworks on my website ( http://www.roguetoys.com/serenity ) where it will be hosted for the foreseeable future. The art will be judged after the submission deadline by my wife and myself.

On Monday, June 20th, we will announce a winner on this thread. In order to receive the tickets, the artist must meet me in person that week before the showing. You will give me the artwork for display, and I will give you the tickets. If the winner lives out of the area, email me to work out the details.

Digital/Computer Rendered works need to be in a tangible form (printed out) & submitted digitally
(You will retain the copyright to your works)

The Haul:
2 Tickets to the Dallas screening of Serenity on June 23rd (FREE!)
(You never know, there may be a second place winner as well..)

Everyone!:
Vote on your favorites & discuss. You could sway the judges' opinion, and maybe you'll get to accompany the winner as well (at his/her discretion)! If you enter the contest and you don't want tickets, just let me know. I'll still host your art!
