Cloverfield was a cross between "Godzilla" and "The Blair Witch Project", I'm hoping this isn't another J.J. cut and paste reboot.

Doesn't seem like it. From the trailer, it looks like a proper movie, with name actors and everything.

I'm hoping the shaky cam phase has run its course in Hollywood.

Dunno what Cloverfield is or where it came from, but I'd love to see Godzilla pound its arse.
