Nothing that's not already been said, I guess, but what a waste of time. Waste of not 1 but 2 movies. Both were as bad as I had remembered. Not 'SW Prequels' bad, but disappointing.

If there ever is any sort of 'do over' w/ the franchise, I gotta think they'll still go after big name talent. As was done w/ Ironman, Hulk, Spiderman....

Love Ms Alba, but she was never Sue Storm. Hot as she is, she looks like a gorram doll w/ blue eyes and blonde hair.

The F/X for The Thing was marginal, at best, so it'll be interesting to see what they come up w/ in the next 'vision'.

You suck, AU, and your "opinion" of the flicks as well. I hate you, you can go directly to Hell, do not pass go; do not collect $200.

While I wasn't thrilled with the first movie I do find the second rather entertaining. I had my doubts about how well they could pull of Silver Surfer but it was very well done.

She's Max, not Sue Storm. Get over it.

STORYMARK

They have their moments, but they're neither one very good. Torch and Thing are well cast, but that's canceled out by the utter awefullness of McMahon as Dr. Doom. Just terrible casting.

Though I wouldn't hold my breath on them casting the reboot with any big names. Sure, Robert Downey Jr. is big again because of Iron Man, but before it came out he was doing supporting gigs and direct-to-video movies. He was so not a "name" at the time, that the studio almost refused to let Favrea cast him.

"I thoroughly disapprove of duels. If a man should challenge me, I would take him kindly and forgivingly by the hand and lead him to a quiet place and kill him."
