I was recently in a bookstore and happened to spot a new Manga (digest-style pseudo-Japanese comics, for the non-otaku among us), called My Dead Girlfriend. It's from TokyoPop, written/drawn by Eric Wight (who was "ghost artist" on The O.C.).

What got my attention was the little blurb on the cover by Joss Whedon himself (credited as "creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer").

Haven't actually read it yet, 'cause of the huge pile of other time-critical stuff I was dealing with, but hey, Joss' word is good enough for me. First printing says Feb 2007, so it should be findable now.
