I was watching Futurama last night, the episode where The Planet Express Ship has a change of personality and voice. Bender then falls for the Planet Express Ship and the Ship and Bender start dating. Bemder then gets bored and dumps the ship. The Ship then loses it and trys to fly into a quaser so Bender and herself can be together as 1 singularity.

I was trying to guess the voice all the way through the episode. At 1 point I thought it was Jewel Staite.

The credits then rolled and too much to my surprise the Planet Express Ship is played by none other than Sigourney Weaver! It doesn't even sound like her.

That is a great episode. It is a big homage to 2001 Space Oddysey and the gags are very funny. Fry says to the ship, about the break up with Bender, that Bender will be upset about it as well. It then cuts to Bender lieing in his bunk with his hands behind his head singing 'Bender is great, oooohhh Bender is great'.

Futurama, very funny show and never gets old.

I thought it was really obvious, possibly due to having watched Heartbreakers more than once ;)

Man, Sigourney looks hot in Heartbreakers :) It did not cross my mind at all that it was Sigourney as her voice is usually deeper than in Futurama.

I figured it was Sigourney the first time I heard it.

But as for the episode itself, I think it was one of their best episodes. A real gag-a-minute thing that has too many to list here.

But off the top of my head, the shot with all the ice cream containers in front of the red eye was the funniest visual, next to the shot that revealed that the most romantic place on Earth was Milwakee (sp?), and anytime you get Lrr into an ep, you have comic gold.

"This is ancient Earth's most foolish program. Why does Ross, the largest friend, not simply EAT the other five?"

"Perhaps they are saving that for sweeps."

and then a few moments later

"These candies are chalky and unpleasant."
"And what is this emotion you call 'wuv'?"
"Surely it says, 'love'?"
"No, wuv, with an Earth W. Behold."
"THIS CONCEPT OF WUV CONFUSES AND INFURIATES US!!!!!"
