Hey everyone. Just ran across this as I was looking for I-man screencaps. Was just posted a few days ago so I'm trying not to be bummed out at the pitiful few signatures so far. If any one ever wants to hope of seeing I-man dvds in Region 1 (US and Canada), please go and sign it...and request it on TVshowsonDVD.com too!!

OK, I signed it, but if the numbers stay as small as they are, that would pretty much guarantee that the producers will NOT do a dvd release. I hope it does get released, though. I caught most of the show when it aired, but missed several key episodes that I'd love to have a chance to see sometime.

Actually i don't remember if it was this site or another but I also read that at San Diego convention, the I-man fan booth got like 3000 signatures on a similar petition. Also they have a contest running to print out hardcopy forms and get signatures to send by snail mail to win a free copy of the R1 dvd if/when it comes out. So maybe it will happen and there is a good reason there are very few signatures?

Loved that show! I went and signed the petition... but still danged few sigs on it. I hope that means people are printing out the HC to mail in. I bought the first season when it came out on Region 2 (that multi-region DVD player is about the best thing I ever bought myself!) and glad I did.

GROUNDED

As I understand it, some south american company bought the rights to I-Man and released S1 in the UK to test the waters. Obviously, since it hadn't even been shown in the UK before at the time, it didn't sell well and so they were reluctant to do a US release. You'd think they'd want to target places where they actually have a market eh?

Yeah, it's an Argentine company that owns the rights. I have the address if anyone wants it... "Testing the waters" in a country that never saw the show in the first place was just dumb. What is it about a corporation that makes it impossible for its decision-makers to see the obvious?

Please, Why won't they just give us the DVD's?

That crap with those rich girls living on a farm didn't have to wait this long to get released!! Why has our society beeen sucked into the black hole of Reality TV? WHY?!?!?!?
