Sci Fi Wire has two nice little blurbs regarding J.J. Abrams' "Lost" (prem. Sept 22nd on ABC).

From Fury's description, it sounds like it could be a very interesting series. Unfortunately, these days, that means it probably won't last very long. ABC isn't know for its support of innovative television. The cynic in me gives it eight episodes before it's cancelled - less if it's really, really good.

Sorry. I hope I'm wrong, but after the last couple of years, with the cancellations of Firefly, Angel, Wonderfalls, Farscape, etc., etc. I can't help but be a bit pessimistic.
