Okay, just a little out of date, but I picked up the season 2 DVD of Futurama today and decided to watch the above episode "just to test" that the disks weren't scratched.

Wow. Funny, moving - all in a 30 minute cartoon. No wonder Fox cancelled it; don't want that kind of quality making the rest of your shows look like

"I threw up on your bed"

Yes, it was a good episode - it's funny how Fox has this almost obsession with reducing television to the lowest common denominator.

And at the same time they listen to reason and (a little, but I am soooo sure only just a little) the dollar and bring back Family Guy - do they have a magic 8 ball for the programming?

"Mid Season pick up for Firefly?" - "The future is cloudy"

"Is reality TV the way to go" - "It is almost certain"

Yeah, too true. It's quite ridiculous the way that these decisions seem to be made.

They don't like shows beginning with "F": Family Guy, Firefly, Futurama, er, Fallswonder...
