If this really does come true, I will NOT be seeing the movie. Can't we have a realtive unknown? Or someone with... you know.. actual acting chops?

A few people on io9 tossed out Summer's name. But she's too young looking to play against Christian Bale with the dysfunctional Bats/Cat sexual tension. I mean, she's graceful and could pll off the stunts with ease, but I don't see her as Catwoman. Morena I think would play a wicked Catwoman or.... I dunno anyone other than Megan 'I like the porn star look' Fox.

I don't think this is going to happen. First, it's just don't right awful. Second, I read somewhere that the people who released this rumor initially was the same website that said Eddie Murphy was going to play the Riddler. Not a very reliable source.

Now, michelle pfeiffer I'd go for, though she's a tad old to play a young Catwoman, I hope Megan Fox is not chosen, that would destroy the Catwoman character IMO.

Never believe British tabloids, folks. This rumor comes from the same rag who reported Eddie Murphy would be the Riddler (ah, someone covered that).

I'd like to see Catwoman in the third film, though, for a variety of reasons. My pick for the role, off the top of my head, would be Rosario Dawson.

I have seen Rosario Dawson in "Men in Black II", but that was some time ago and I don't ever remember seeing Megan Fox in a performance, so I can't comment on their playing Catwoman.

They would certainly have their work cut out for them to compete with Michelle Pfeiffer. I thought she did an excellent performance. So I am not going to recommend anybody, because I'll be thinking how great Michelle would be.

Pfeifer was great. But that was almost 20 years ago, she'd be a bit old now, I'd think.

Dawson I've only actually seen in a couple flicks (Clerks 2, Eagle Eye), but from what I've seen of her, she carries a sort-of cat-like vibe. To me, at least.

The fact that she's hot and can act doesn't hurt.

The problem I see with her, is that her ethnicity might bring back unpleasant memories of the Halle Berry mistake.

Eartha Kit played Catwoman. So you have some ethnic diversion there. I admit that the TV series is quite different from the films. I even see a difference in the more recent films as to the original ones. I am not a big DC comic fan and that means I don't know the whole background of Catwoman, but just as Ms Pfeiffer, I believe Catwoman has reformed and fights for justice now. Would this be the case if her character is added to the next film?

I still think they should retire Catwoman.. at least, if Nolan does the third batman movie, I hope he won´t use that character even though they kind of referenced her in Dark Knight.. I would love to see Harley Quinn after the Joker and Summer would be awesome as Quinn.. BUT if they were going to do Catwoman, I´d like to see Amy Acker try it

no there´s no such requirements, but Glau and Acker are probably my two favorite actresses and so I would like to see them in more movies. And both are very good and also athletical which both Harley and Catwoman would require, so I think they could do the characters well.. And I don´t want some big star in those roles, like Megan Fox. That would contend as one of the most stupid ideas ever imo
