I liked it. It was well written, with good stories and great characters.
I kept waiting for Lindsay's gorgeous sister to hack into a mysterious WiFi signal that suddenly appeared in their apartment!

So if anyone knows the status of the show, please let me know!
Australian TV sucks!
Anything decent we have to wait until it comes out on DVD, 'coz there is no way in hell I'm gunna pay for TV with FREAKIN ADDS!

It was cancelled a year and a half ago, with no particular outcry from fans or... anyone, really.

So, that'd be a big "nope".

Sorry to disappoint, but the show was not all that well written (it was very inconsistent). But I absolutely loved Michelle Ryan (well, looking at her more so than her acting), but the one I would wait to see was Katee Sackhoff (Wow! what a woman) her nemesis on the show.

I'm not disappointed, I just don't agree!
I thought it was well written, but then again I write science fiction.
It seems the same level of bitching about TSCC, one camp says "Too episodic", the other camp says "Too disjointed".
As for Michelle Ryan's acting, you cant really tell me Lindsay Wagner could act!
70's & 80's TV just plain out sucked! So did the music, the fashion, especially the hair styles.
I wish I did drugs like everyone else was doing, so it would all be a blur!
lol

I shouldn't really blame Michelle Ryan for the show's demise. I watched several episodes and found some of it predictable and rather unimaginative. But then there were flashes of solid sci-fi.

The best scenes were with Ryan and Sackhoff as they faced off on the roof, etc. The storyline of another bionic woman, who had gone mad, was a stroke of genius. It reminded me of the old film the Invisible Man.

Your right about the original Bionic Woman show of the 70's and 80's - El Sucko! - but Lindsay Wagner was not half bad in the title role. One of the few saving graces of the original, very few.

TSSC: This was a show that I wanted more than anything to succeed. I'm a big fan of the original and Judgement Day, along with Summer being involved and Lena Heady. So, for me, it had all the ingredients to be a major hit. But something went wrong in the execution and I never could quite get into it. Summer was mainly misused. I loved the idea of her character Cameron being an advanced Terminator and having human emotions.

But then they kind of abandoned that aspect and had her mostly fighting off bad guys. I'm all for action, especially female action, but I didn't get the feeling that her character was rewriting her programming. I don't know, it just didn't flow for me. Then there's Lena Heady. To me she was acting tough. In 300 she was a Queen who WAS tough. In that role she was kick-ass. I was really disappointed. Linda Hamilton is no Meryl Streep, but she made it believable in T2.

BTW did you see the Salvation flick? It was ok. I put it ahead of T3, but I still think that T2 is the undisputed champ.
