Just finished the first episode for season 5 and I thought it was great. Some nice special effects too.

Anyone else see it yet?

Oh yeah before people start saying it hasn't aired yet.. there is a torrent preair release.

STRANGEBIRD

Sweet, as long as it is better than 98% of last seasons episodes. There was alot of good, but I felt it was just not even close to seasons 1&2. The show needs some fresh writing. But I still enjoy it. Big fan of David Hewlett so as long as he's around I'll always watch the show. Plus now it has Jewel and Robert Picardo... so that's more incentive to be there.

BTW, I have crappy dial-up. No other decent option at the moment so... I gotta wait until it airs on Scifi. Still nice to hear the first epi was good.

I just have to say thanks for the reminder.
I downloaded the pre-air and then completely forgotten that I had done so.
It's sitting on the hd right now.
I even double checked when the show was starting just two days ago and this didn't ring any bells.

Well, guess what I'm gonna do now?

Nope. Just a pre-air release of the S5 premiere.
The real season starts July 11th.

So you can catch one episode and then wait a couple of weeks or just wait and see them then.
