I loved First Blood, unfortunately I felt the next two films were more or less just comic-book fare- watchable nonsense. But this new one seems to be in the realistic mold of the first (I haven't seen it yet). Who else here is gonna buy it the day it's released?

Not me.
The first is a fine movie but I couldn't care less about the other two.

Never really been a huge Sly fan so the release of Rambo 4 and Rocky 6 were a total non-event for me. A faded star trying to recapture previous glories.

If someone lends me a copy and I am bedridden for some time then maybe, just maybe, I'll watch it.
Certainly wouldn't buy it tho'.

He was quite good in Copland and of course the original Rocky is a classic. Can't really say that much of his other work has rattled my primary buffer panel.
