Never heard of it. So figured why not. B movie junkie an all. Well its English they make bad scifi and war movies. Bad acting but the story lines are well written. When watching Cowboy Bebop I noticed the ships are like firefly had in it. Also the theory of the age drug for Inara comes from that show. Now in starhunter I see alot of cowboy bebop. I also seen some of the episodes in starhunter very similar to firefly. They even have a planet called Miranda and raiders. I can't think of the name of this early 80's b movie but they had an agent just like in Serenity but that movie took alot from bladerunner. I find it just interesting where ideas come from for new shows. Michael Pare in starhunter was real bad I'm a fan of his from Streets of fire and Philly experiment. But this is not a good show.

"Battle of Serenity, Mal. Besides Zoe here, how many-" "I'm talkin at you! How many men in your platoon came out of their alive".

I got the set, for the same reason. I'm a fan of Micheal Pare and B movies. I keep watching it looking for redeeming factors...

The ship is cool. I like the holographic guy.

Ok seriously. Some episodes were passable. I liked the concept (Well duh... I am a firefly fan and there are rather glaring similarities) plus I'm a sucker for space themed movies/tv.

The second season, Starhunter 2300 is slightly better. It is more along the lines of Andromeda (yikes! That's not a very glowing recomendation), but I really dislike the lead actor.

Still it is some more to fill the void while waiting for our Firefly sequel(s). I recently got Babylon 5: Crusade. The jury is still out on that one.
