I cannot wait. Sci-fi seems to be going through a bit of a revival in the UK with Doctor Who, Torchwood, Life on Mars etc. It would be interesting to see how the series goes down over here.

Have to agree though sounds like a firefly prequel, either that or they've nicked it from the prologue to Terran campaign of the Starcraft oomputer game.

The only thing that miffs me is that I was cooking up my own idea for a SF TV series involving space colonization, but with its own unique "high concept" twist. I wonder if I could get the idea into a condition that I could have pitched.
