i noticed over the past few years many more super hero movies have been coming out since the days of super man and batman. i know that some suck(batman begins im looking at you and your buddy super man). But some are good like spider man and the xmen trilogy. I would like to know if anyone still appreciates a good super hero movie and if they do not bt if so wich hero is your favorite hero. I personaly chose wolverine. and i hate spawn if even a hero but i still hate him.

Someday the verse will spit in your soup but at least they gave you soup.
one day
one plan
one mission
one army of browncoats
june 23rd serenity day

-Our mission as browncoats is to make us known.

Whilst not techincally a hero (I guess he JUST qualifies as an anti-hero), I always loved Lobo (from the DC comics of the same name). The dude was bad ass! A man that's invincicble because he's too evil for Heaven AND Hell?? You just don't argue with that!

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Spider Man is my all time favorite. Has been since I was a kid.

I also like Batman, Moon Knight, The Punisher, and Ghost Rider.

Hiro Nakamura.

Going mainstream, I used to be a huge Superman fan in the 90s, but I kinda lost interest when they dropped the triangle numbers and it became impossible to follow any actual storyline. I'm still a fan, but only of the Superman/Batman team-up series. Better character dynamics.

Wow, that's a great question. Tough one, though. What does one
gage his response on ?

Physical prowess ? Keen detection skills ?

The ability to banter well with super villains ?
Brody, Mallrats

I would have to say if I were to choose it would have to be Wolverine. Short hairy loner dude with sideburns, bad attitude and indestructible. I like the superheros that remind me of me

Hey LA29 you should read some of Stan Lee's comments on how Wonder Woman Came about. Pretty smutty stuff there.

Well personally I am still angry with the X-men movies for leaving out my #1 Fave!
Gambit - Hands down THE man!
Oh and for also screwing up the possibility of my second Fave
#2 Archangel
#3 Batman
#s 4&5 Cloak & Dagger
#6 Colloses (SP) Been a while since I have read any comics
#7 Night Crawler
#8 Morbious
#9 The Ghost Rider (John Blaze era)
#10 Slapstick - comic relief is the bomb once in a while

I think it was during an interview on either Sci-Fi or VH1 that he talked about her. I am thinking Sci-Fi because of his superhero show he had on there over the summer.

Man was that a funny show!

I will research and see what I can find for you.

So many to chose from... I'm a big fan of Image Comics so I'd say Hellboy or Invincible or maybe Battle Pope (yes, there is such a thing). Batman Begins was an awesome movie! Superman Returns sucked but made for lots of good Micheal Jackson jokes at the end. Robert Kirkman is an amazing comic book writer and you should all check out his stuff, the stuff he did for Marvel was crap but the stuff he's doing for Image is amazing. Also isn't Joss doing an X-Men comic? I can't remember which but I think it's Astonishing X-Men or something like that.

If by smutty you mean the creator had an unusual homelife...then yes. I don't know what Stan said, but I do know quite a bit about her origins since she's my fave too. A quick way to find out the basics is to check out her wikipedia entry. Suffice it to say, Dr. Marston had help from his wife and thier live in 'third' to create Diana. I don't want to get into the details here, but you can learn all about the undertones and his history yourself.

I iked DM too. Here's an icon for ya Ric.

BONANACROIN

I'm a big fan of the comic heros who have nothing and still do what needs to be done. A little profit on the side or a kiss from the pretty girl at the end is a fringe benefit. But when the chips are down they don't turn, they don't run, and they don't quit. They can complain and question and blaim all they want, but in the end they fall down six times and stand up seven.
My heros are Josh, Mal, Job, Jessie Custer, and Six-Pack from D.C.

I died my Browncoat black for those whom have gone befor.

Aw shux Alene a prezzy :D Thanks.

Yeah I have fondness for Dangermouse. He was the reason I started drawing when I was a kid. I have very happy memories sitting down at my grandparents dinning room table doodling away. Penfold (his cowardly side-kick) was always great fun to draw. As was Greenback.

Wow I've just gone right back to 1981...

Thanks again TWG.
