Pop-Quiz, Hotshot:

You're Mal, and the Operative is about to run you through. The sword is almost quivering in anticipation, as the Operative says: Do you know what your sin is, Mal? Instead of you (or Mal, if you prefer to be him) answering: Hell, I'm a fan of all seven, you actually answer. What do you say, and what do you think the Operative will say that Mal's sin is? I'm not sure if this question has been asked before, but it has plagued me for some time now.

Personally, I think it's greed, because Mal refuses to go by the strictures and rules of the Alliance, and stubbornly drives to make the 'verse work the way he wants to.

I think a little chaos is in order.

I think he would've said that Mal's sin is "wrath". He hasn't let go of the war. Any chance he gets to punish the Alliance in any way, however small, he'll take it. And that could lead to doing something incredibly stupid like, I don't know, risking the lives of his crew to go into Reaver territory just to dig up some dirt on the Alliance.

Most definetly Pride for Mal, Greed is about wanting things and not so much about being stubborn.

My own sin would probebly be Greed, Lust or Gluttony (hell, I like them all).
