Hey. I know this isn't a sci-fi show in any way (unless if you count the fantasy sequences and the ocassional talking to dead people moments), but seeing as how the final season of this great show begins tonight (finally got Movie Central), I was hoping that maybe there are some other fans of the show that post here that would like to talk about the show, about stuff like favorite opening deaths, overall plot lines, specific characters and such and what we should hope and expect from the last 12 eps.

Just as a little non-sequiter to get the ball rolling, don't you think Nathan Fillion and Peter Krause look alike? I mean, they have the same kind of hair, the drawling voice and are roughly about the same age and height. Maybe in a parallel universe, they switched rolls, and Peter Krause will forever be known as Mal Reynolds and Nate Fillion is the HBO thespian.

And wow! Hey! What's this thing suddenly coming towards me very fast? Very very fast. So big and flat and round, it needs a big wide sounding name like ... ow ... ound ... round ... ground! That's it! That's a good name - ground! I wonder if it will be friends with me?

Sorry, I don't have HBO and I've never seen the show. However, I just found out that it is produced by the guy who made the "American Beauty" movie, which I really liked. So I'm going to start buying the dvd sets to get caught up. Hopefully, I'll be able to discuss it sometime soon....

Hey. I just wanted to bump this thread because I just saw the last episode of the show. And you want to see a thing of beauty, watch the last 15 minutes or so. The whole ep was just a great send-off, but the last moments, where we saw the deaths of each of the main characters. You want to see a great final ep, that was it.

Did anyone else see this? I honestly think that Alan Ball can give Joss a run for his money in the "great fucking tv" department.
