Mark Sheppard, everybody's favourite. . . what is Badger anyway, technically? Fence? Middleman? Broker?

Whatever, he was on Medium this week, as was his shiny hat (I kid you not).

He played a particularly loathsome rapist/murderer who died in the early 1900s, but has learned how to come back, possessing hosts to kill again.

The actor himself only appeared once (in Allison's initial dream), but then we saw his genuine Western-style wanted poster, which could well have been based on a Firefly screengrab, 'cause he was wearing a fairly distinctive bowler.

The character appeared several times during the ep however, noncorporeally possessing a pair of victims, who I can only assume were coached by Sheppard himself (and might possibly have become Browncoats in the process of reviewing his earlier performances). Seriously, they played "Badger" to a T. Definitely one to look out for.

DARKJESTER

I missed the initial dream sequence, and only saw Mark's face in the WANTED poster. I was wondering when he would show, then I heard the posessed "bad guy" speaking, and I'm still not sure if it was the actor adopting a Brit accent, or Mark overdubbing the lines. His voice is somewhat distinctive!
