Yeah... I'm thinking an easy 2 Billion here. Maybe 2.5 if it gets a lot of repeats and hangs on.

Nothing else is going to touch it after it breaks ahead of the pack. I've heard that we don't even have another movie that will make any real money coming out until December.

You missed the part where it's now the first movie to reach $1 Billion worldwide in only 4 days.

The previous record was Endgame in 5 days, and number 2 was Infinity War at 11 days.

Did anybody else catch the fact that Spider-Man made about $5.3 Million more on Monday than The Odyssey's best day, which was it's opening weekend Saturday?

* Remember, they include previews in the Friday numbers, so the $51 Million Friday was actually only $33.4 Million. Saturday was around $41 Million.

Yes. We know that Joe Biden* fucked up the economy.

I didn't miss that.

I'm always the guy pointing out that inflation matters, yet they never do.

I'm the guy who told you years ago that no horror movie will ever actually break The Exorcist's record because in order to do so to overcome inflation it would need to gross over $3 Billion.

But they're never going to tell you that, because if they did, they'd never be able to write a headline saying that a movie was the best selling movie of all time ever again. So I'm just writing the headlines they're either too stupid to notice and put out there like they usually do, or they're purposefully not saying this because they HATE that everyone forgot about The Odyssey already.

Fuck off, Shit Golem. If I had written that fact about The Odyssey, you wouldn't have shit to say about it.

You know it, and I know it.

By the way, 6ixStringJoker, I've seen all these movies for free on TV. Zero is the correct price to pay to see movies, since you leave the theater with nothing tangible.

I've made that observation MANY, MANY, MANY years ago here, Shit Golem.

Over and over and over again, and sometimes directed at your dumb ass.

You're not wrong. But you're talking as if you explaining something to somebody that they didn't already know.

And I won't even argue with you about the price of free. I don't pay to see movies. Any movies I did see in the theater were down by my brother and my Dad was paying for it. I can think of a thousand things in the next 5 minutes that my money would be better spent on.

Get the fuck out of here with your stupid, annoying ass.

If the correct price for seeing a movie is zero, why are you always quoting ticket sales as if that number is significant? Gone With The Wind's ticket sales, which make it the highest-grossing movie in world history, do have some significance: In the 20th Century, the descendants of slave owners and sympathizers with continuing slavery were extremely bitter that the slaves had been emancipated and the cotton plantation mansions had been burned down. That's why they bought so many tickets to see a movie glorifying the Confederacy and mourning its passing away.

Gone with the Wind (1939): Estimated over 200 million tickets sold globally/domestically across multiple re-releases, ranking #1 on historical charts.

I'll give you a hint...

There's no way in hell you're ever going to watch The Odyssey (if you haven't pirated it already) and tell me that it is a good movie.

You know that it is not a good movie.

But it made a billion dollars despite being a bad movie.

And if I hadn't already flat out told you exactly why I ever tracked movies even though you wouldn't ever catch me dead paying for a movie ticket myself at least a dozen times over the years, I think you're at least smart enough to have figured that out on your own by now.

It's all part of the reason why I fucking own you now and there's nothing you can ever say again that gets under my skin. You are a loser for life. Your party is dead. The world you used to live in is dead.

And a much larger part of that than you'd ever admit is Hollywood's doing. And not just Hollywood. Every single space that your people have invaded online and in real life and taken over for your own. Because none of you can create anything. You only destroy. So you stole literally EVERYTHING that people loved and enjoyed and ruined it for them.

There is not one goddamned thing that people used to enjoy that you haven't ruined for everybody.

Maybe if you all just shut your stupid, big fucking mouths and kept doing what you were doing, you wouldn't have woken up the sleeping bear. But no...

You saw that big bear sleeping there and minding its own business and you all decided to piss directly on its face every single day for at least the last 14 years straight.

You're always talking about people you want to kill, Second. It's your second favorite hobby behind your stroking your ever-raging TDS boner.

You want to know who to blame for the situation you find yourself in today?

Not just everyone in that video, but especially those that wrote it, filmed it, produced it and gave the OK to air it.

Why do I track Hollywood when I never pay to see any movies of my own?

Because I know full well that I can just as easily track the mood of an entire nation by doing so as I watched the first cracks in the relentless media messaging appear when THAT particular video aired on MTV in December of 2016. And then that video started playing on loop... over and over and over and over again in every movie, and every TV show, and every commercial, and in every comic book, and in every video game, and in every publication that reviewed any of them, and all of the awards and award shows, and in every formerly nerd-culture niche that had been taken over.

That MTV short has been playing on repeat everywhere for 10 years straight.

And just like somebody who was dumb enough to buy a house right next to the train tracks, after months or even years of living in misery, one day the noise just vanished...

Tuned completely out.

Never to be a bother again.

Your people all seemed to think The Odyssey was a win for them.

But they forget this one success comes after dozens upon dozens upon dozens of failures since the final curtain went down on Endgame. And that's only counting big budget movies. Nobody was ever paying to see most of your low budget shit from the beginning.

So this one became such a cultural phenomena with everyone talking about it that unlike all the other woke flops your people actually put real money down to support it. And you conned a lot of other people to get their ass in the seats by blowing Christopher Nolan 24/7 for 2 months. And then making this the must-see movie of the summer for all the fucking morons by making it all about the spectacle surrounding it, rather than any of the merits of the movie itself.

Congratulations to the people who made money off of this grift. May they spend it well.

But unless you think Nolan can pull that off twice in a row after this betrayal to his audience, good luck to ya. I wouldn't make that bet.

Maybe you can get Michael Bay to ruin his name and pump out another one for you next year? I don't think you burned him yet, have you?

You bought George Lucas and completely silenced and black-balled him from ever working in Hollywood again a long time ago.

Stephen Spielberg has been setting his own name and career on fire for decades at the Liberal altar and is now at the point where he can't even put out a movie with Emily Blunt as the lead and not lose a hundred million dollars.

Don't even fucking try any of the so-called directors of the various colors of the DEI variety, many of which use tampons whether they are a woman who needs it or a very mentally sick man who jams it up his asshole everyday while crying online about how unfair it is that they can't piss in public with little girls.

Never going to happen.

So that's it...

You want to recreate The Woke Odyssey again next year?

See if Michael Bay will ruin his career and name for one last big pay day.

Because you're never going to get Nolan to recreate this again, and you're running very low on capable directors that people even want to go see anymore.

I'm not saying Nolan is finished as a director. Far from it at this point. They will throw him at least one more big budget after this.

But if he goes woke again on his next blockbuster, that will be a fall from grace for a director that makes M. Knight's look pleasant in retrospect.

And anybody who's foolish enough to have Nolan try it 3 times in a row completely deserves what they get because there is just no teaching some people.

Why Mentioning BitTorrent is Legal

• Safe Harbor Protections: Under laws like the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) in the U.S., user-generated comment sections do not make a website liable for what users type.

• Action Required: Websites only face legal pressure if they actively host pirated files or profit from copyright infringement.

When Websites Actually Face Shutdowns

• Direct Piracy: Sites are taken down or seized by law enforcement only when they routinely host, index, or distribute large volumes of unauthorized copyrighted material (like illegal movie or software trackers).

Amen.

And you see why he did that, right?

He is incapable of any adult conversation.

He has now asked me twice the same question I've answered before about why I track movies when I don't ever pay to see movies.

I ended up going into pretty great detail about it last night in 2 posts and then he just posts a link to download Spider-Man because he knows I used to care.

And next summer when something similar happens, he's going to ask me that question again as if I've never answered it before.

Second is a loser. The biggest piece of shit you've ever known.
