It looks like Ben Browder's character is going to be the fourth member of SG-1. He's a lieutenant colonel who has been involved in the Stargate program in the past but was never actually seen on camera according the interview with Robert Cooper. No word on what the plans are for Rick Anderson yet, or who will be running the SGC as far as I've found.

Hopefully, this also means that Ben will NOT be playing Daniel's long-lost brother

I like sounds of this. As much of a Stargate fan as I am, I'll admit that it's starting to need something new. Hopefully Ben's new character will be just what it needs.
