If you've got a few extra bucks, please consider donating to Haken using the links on the front page.

The servers have been straining from all the increased traffic over the past few days. Yesterday, there were periods where the site wasn't available (at least to me). This was just downright unsettling.

For those of you who don't know, fireflyfans.net is the product of one fan's love for the show. Haken wrote all the code and has kept the site operational for more than three years out of the goodness of his heart. In the process, he has facilitated the development of a unique community on the web. The many of us who call this site home owe him a tremendous thank-you.

He's too modest to actually come out and request money to help upgrade the servers, so I'll just butt in

. If you love coming to fireflyfans.net on a regular basis, please consider dropping a few bucks into the tip jar (so to speak). There are links to both amazon and paypal on the main page in the left column.

I figured that I would offer my services and give this thread a much needed bump.

I had no idea that using the link on the main page to buy the DVD set at Amazon would directly help out this site. I always figured that was just imaginary fanboy talk. Thus, from now on, all my purchases will be going through FFF.net. Not a whole lot to offer, I know, but it's a start.
