I was looking for what extras were on the Australian DVD of Serenity and found this:

Not only do they have Serenity with extra extras and a fabulous tin box; they are getting a re-release of Firefly with a fabulous tin box.

I'm ready to buy it whether I can play the discs or not.

When do we get the pretty, shiny things?!!

Just ordered my special tin box of Firefly. They are supposed to coming out on the 10th October. I'm excited, I can tell you!

The extras for Australian dvd are for all zone four. You should be able to buy Serenity with them cheaper, though not necessarily in the funky tin from a NZ website. Obviously, you need an all zone DVD player.

Try www.trademe.co.nz which at present has copies of the 2 disc edition for NZ$ 20.00 plus postage (about another $10 I'd have thought) which would be about $US 20 all up. Specifically http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/SearchResults.aspx?searchtype=GENERAL&

The price for Firefly is better than you can get in NZ at present by about $NZ 20.
