I have mentioned this before around here. It was quite riveting to watch, for me.

not sure if it was the same person doing it, but this reverse geneology method was used to solve a local (Green Bay) Cold Case murder from 34 years ago.

Have any of you heard of additional stories using these methods? The Golden State Killers was apparently the first to do this.

lol I read that as GeneRic Detective TV Show.
I was thinking, “dang, they’ve finally ran out of ideas and aren’t even trying anymore.”

Another case, Michelle Martinko, from 1979 in Cedar Rapids, IA. Was not on the show, tho.

Sometimes I think of what I would do if I won the lotery, or otherwise had more money than I knew what to do with.

One thing I want to do is put together a team of investigators, likely psychic detectives, to locate, ID the missing or buried bodies spread around my state if WI.

One particular case was a woman who was found in 200 in SE Fond Du Lac County, off Skyline Drive in Ashford. She was not claimed and then buried in 2011 in Catagarus Cemetary as Jane Doe. These locations are rural, somewhat remote, meaning the buildings are not close together. I hae been familiar with these areas because they are roads that I have spent time scouting, for the prposes of developing a Car Club Cruise. I ended up not using the Ashford area roads, but did use the Catagarus area roads for a different Car Cruise.

Skyline is a short road, a few turns off of Interstate 41/45 at the Hwy 28 Exit. Which is a not very populated interchange, because it is largely marsh.

She was exhumed a few years ago, to obtain further information.

Genetic Ancestry allowed her identity to be determined. It was not an episode on the show.

She was Amy Marie Yeary, age 18 of Rockford, IL. She had been trafficked, and had been in Chicago, Milwukee, Madison, Beloit in the weeks prior to her vanishing. When she called home for help, her mom was unable to drive 20 miles to pick her up, or arrange a ride.

May she rest in piece.
