Would anyone happen to have a set of VCR tapes of Firefly I could borrow. A very dear friend is basically bedridden after a horribly gone wrong hip replacement. She does not have a DVD player. I know, crazy right? But she really wants to watch the series as she was a big Joey Buchannon fan.

I appreciate any news you might have.

can't help with that, sorry, but perhaps you could just lend her one of yours, or buy her a cheap one as a get well soon present or something? I suppose the trouble is it'll all take time to fix something up.

I have all of the series on three tapes, from the Sci-Fi Channel broadcasts back in 2005. They've been collecting dust for a long time but I will check them out to make sure they still play. I'll send you a PM with my regular email so we can work out details of how to get them to you.
