Hey, all! My wife and I need a beta reader to help us finish our Season 2. We already have 3 episodes posted, the first titled "Episode 1: Crash!"

We have 7 more episodes planned and would like to post them every couple of weeks.

Any takers?

Well, I would like to learn more about what this would entail. I am interested in helping, but don't necessarily have great languistic skills. I'm also not sure I could meet the time commitments depending on what they were.

It would entail reading the rough draft we produce every couple of weeks and offering comments on story, characters, and dialogue so we can make it presentable to the public.

We were doing it on our own, but this season and the next are planned out to such detail I'm afraid we're too deep in the story to remain objective.

In my opinion, you don't need to be a great writer to beta, just be someone that understands what can make a story great and what can make a story awful.

I'm willing to work around a longer time frame. I'm just trying to treat it as much like a TV show under a production schedule as possible.

Well, hopefully you are getting some Private Messages from more qualified candidates. I am often opinionated and have read book that I did not like, so maybe there is hope. I doubt that I could write a good story to save my life. Anyway, It sounds interesting, and like a unique experience/opportunity, so I'm willing to try - it's your "blood and sweat". If accepted, hopefully I can commit to it the energy that it deserves. Getting feedback from several people seems prudent. You can always fire me if I'm not working out - or if that would be uncomfortable for you, then just string me along and rely on the feedback of a better assistant. :-) PM me if you want me to give this a go.
