You know that feeling you get when you've introduced new folk to the 'verse? Well, I've got it in spades tonight!

We watched the BDM in the lobby of my dorm building tonight. This one guy, who had seen it once before and thought River was hot set up his DVD player and I played the DVD. He, and two other girls joined me and my roomate for this viewing.

About the part where Reavers were attacking the town, this guy walked up, asked what we were watching, sat down and watched it with us. About the part where Mal was fighting the Operative, another guy came up, asked what we were watching, and sat down to join us.

Admidedly, the free popcorn and lemonaid I was offering may have been incentive...

but even the girls said it was a "good movie, so far" halfway through...and during the ending battle sequences, one of them was foward in her seat, mouth hanging open a little bit.

At least half a dozzen other people stopped and watched for a few minutes before moving on to do other things...and at least a dozzen asked what we were watching.

...I'm planning on asking to borrow the DVD player next weekend and post something on the board about it...

so happy...

Thanks for the post. Gives me a funny feelin' on my insides when I read stuff like this.

As for the link, I dunno. It probably has come and gone, and since then, they didn't maintain the site anymore....it got bought out? Just a guess.
