Yo, so I know that Joss has tried to get Firefly on every television station, but a new station just started called the CW so, what does everybody think about bombarding the station with requests for Firefly while it is still young. Right now they are just playing reruns of older shows and their only spotlights are Smallville and a few others. Tell me what you think, and brainstorm new revival ideas. Ressurect Firefly!!!

I\'m game. Sounds like a good idea to me. Getting Firefly on there would boost their ratings right off. Good idea.

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

They are not airing reruns of older shows. They are producing new episodes of existing shows like Veronica Mars, Smallville, Supernatural, 7th Heaven, Everybody Hates Chris, etc. They have also created new shows, such as Runaway on Monday nights. The CW is a network created from two previous networks, The WB and UPN, both of which Joss approached for a continuation of Firefly.

I'm not saying we shouldn't petition them to consider starting up a new production of Firefly, only that you should get your facts straight. Besides, it's the NBC/Universal stable of networks that would be the better bet, beginning with Sci-Fi but also including USA and Bravo.

Been there, done that. Joss posted over at Whedonesque a while ago, addressing rumors that Nathan, Gina and Summer were seen leaving the fledgling offices at Paramount that would be the CW.
It is from Joss's post where we get the phrase "Mal shoots someone...and their puppy."

I wish it were true. I really do. Sad fact is, it was just a rumor. Joss's post says it all. Firefly won't be living at the CW.

"Have you ever been with a Warrior Woman?"
