Hi there i just finished the series about a week ago for the first time, then the movie. And i was must that i am completely AMAZED.

Anyways we all love it. And i saw on the dvd that the cast attented comicon last year or so.

And i was wondering if they had any plans to attend anymore cons or have any more autograph sessions or something? I would KILL to see/meet them in real life...

thanks a ton

lol im dennis too. anyway, yeah i think it was comicon '04 that they went to. I too hope they come this year cause im there every year. I wasnt a browncoat at the time, but i do remember seeing them signing posters, but the line was too long for me to wait for a show i havent even heard of. My mistake, my very big mistake. Anyway, sorry i didnt help ur questions, the whole dennis thing got me to post. lol.

Khaln,

This show does do this to us, huh? Makes us fall in love and then we have to see more of the BDH's and we go looking for info. Same exact thing that I did.

Welcome to our little corner of the 'verse. We're glad you are here. I greet new folks and hand them their browncoat when they join up....

*hands Dennis a browncoat that will fit him... I don't know how I always get that right. *

Two of the BDH's ( big damn heroes) will be at the Moonlight Rising Con in Pennsylvania in June. Both Nathan Fillion and Adam Baldwin will be there. That's the next convention I know of with Firefly folks at it.

There is a forum over to your right kinda down on the page called Browncoat Events. There will be a listing of all the cons and who the guests will be that will go up under that forum. We are compiling that to announce events surrounding the entire con season. As of last research we didn't know yet who were the announced guests at ComicCon. But I'll bet someone will and it'll get posted, heck they may even post back to you and then we'll all know.
Browncoats are good like that.

Anyway, watch for that answer, and in the meantime enjoy this wonderful place. We are all in love just as much as you and working hard holding the line to get Mal and crew back to us.

Someone will be along and offer you some food... until then, have some coffee or tea in the galley and make yourself to home.

"You hold. Hold 'til I get back." Mal

So how did you find out about Firefly/Serenity?

Also do you live in any of the cities that are having Charity Screenings of Serenity on the Big Darn Screen in June?

Khaln, glad you're here. I'm fairly certain that anytime now the Firefly/Serenity experince will be considered an illegal narcotic.

Hello, Khaln!
#20736, or thereabout.
You look great in that browncoat. I don't know how FM does that -- always picks exactly the right size out of that storeroom.
We've a good spread on the buffet: strawberries, mangos, pineapple, brownies, chocolate-y cake, bao, wife soup, and a wild-tasting punch based on Mudder's Milk. Come on into the galley and sit a spell. If you discover you can't get up again there'll be someone along to help you to your bunk.

Oh, and spread your Firefly love around -- lend out your discs and make new converts.

Oh man i love you guys. I already feel at home. You will definitely see me on the forums from now on.

I got into firefly through a friend who prodded me to watch it, and after mal shot that officer in the head, i was hooked.

Mal has the BEST lines that just pulled at my heart each episode, the acting was nothing short of amazing. And every character deep and lovable in there own way.

Once again thanks a ton for all the responses im really glad to see people still love firefly. I am going out to buy the box set and movie this weekend and making everyone of my friends watch it...not to mention the outtakes on the DVD were HILARIOUS.

*takes the coat* Ah this brown coat feels so right...

Mal: We're still flying.
Simon: That's not much.
Mal: It's enough...

Also im in california, so Pennsylvania is a might bit out of my way.

Thanks once again for all the responses, and the coat, ill make the independence proud!

I'm really going to push having at least one of the BDH's reprazent at GenCon Indy this year. Last year had Ron Glass (aka Shepherd Book) VERY cool guy. Summer was supposed to be there too, but had to cancel at the last minute. (Tricia Helfer from BSG replaced her).

Anyway, been watching the media page at gencon.com, so we'll see. There is a GenCon SoCal also. Maybe you'll get lucky there.

Anyhow, welcome aboard.

BTW, You can pay, right?
