I'm pretty new to these boards, but I hope it's ok to post this!

We will be hosting a Shindig as our New Year's Eve party in Montgomery, AL! We'll be watching two episodes of Firefly followed by a showing of Serenity. There will be trivia games, name that quote, and Firefly Imaginiff. Costumes are welcome, but not mandatory - we do ask that you at least wear something brown! If there's anyone in the area intrested in attending, contact me off group at geoppingerj@yahoo.com

Also, I wanted to announce that a new Yahoo group has been formed for Browncoats in the Central Alabama area. Stop by and join in at [url] http://groups.yahoo.com/group/centralalbrowncoats/[/url]. It's a very new group and I'm working on it a bit at a time, but please stop by and join, especially if you're in the area. We want to organize local shindigs, etc. Hope to see you there!

Glad to see you getting a local group going. In New York City we have over 260 members and get together twice a month. We started with 7 people just sitting around talking about the 'verse.
