Seems I gotta choose my pics before they get passes around. Old habit.

So what kinda day is everyone having?
Mines sorta here but not, can't wait for the weekend but know there will be BS, just wanna disappear into the crowd to replace red blood with green beer kinda day.

NV- it's mostly that I don't look like myself..well I look kind of like myself, but you'll see when we get to D*C that the pics are mostly me with some feature alterations like my hair is darker and my eyes are bigger and such ( and obviously everyone is skinnier than they look in pics)

Mav- yeah right you're a hag ( that is if hags are gorgeous redheads)...I saw your pics on earlier threads...if that's hagsville, what am I?? crone from hell?

See... I take really good pictures. I think the girl that looks out at me from the computer monitor is much prettier than the girl I see in the mirror. She has really noticably high cheekbones and big eyes and (generally) really full lips. And if I catch myself at the right angle (which I've gotten good at) she has a much smaller chin than the girl in the mirror. And, contrary to common photography wisdom, she tends to look thinner, too. Not only thinner than the girl in the mirror, but thinner than the girl I can look down and see.
I'm not fishing for compliments here, and I really don't have a very big issue with how I look, I'm just saying the girl in the camera tends to look much better than the girl in the mirror; just works out that way.
That and if I don't like the way a picture came out I can erase it or play with the contrast or blur or whatever else to make it look better. So that helps a bit, too. But still. I swear my cheekbones don't look quite the same in the mirror.
But Cara said that one of the pictures she took looked "so Rose" and in that one my cheekbones are... well, it's this one:

So maybe it's my mirror that lies to me.

I have rambled. Who wants to bet it's long past my bedtime? *looks at clock* yep, it sure is. How do I keep doing this? I didn't even get very much sleep yesterday...

As for my features; I think God packed my angry eyes. Either that or I've seen way too many Segal flicks. That and I'm dark and only get darker with more sunlight. Shadow That Walks Inside kinda dark. Sucks.

NV- see I'd give anything not to be all pale and tragic:) My brother inherited the lovely dark tan ( only a few shades lighter than you) in our family and my sister Cathy can at least hold a tan, but Margi and I are just pale enough to be translucent...I'd give anything for lovely dark skin:)

PR- My sis is the same way. She's really pretty in life, but in photos she becomes the best her she can be. It's like the camera can pick up the best aspects of her and bring them out. It's amazing. You're both gorgeous and yet the camera enhances you and that is so unfair, but I love you both anyway:) HUGS

the drink to drink on paddy's day would be Guinness and the food would be a fry in the morning and some irish stew in evening

if u want to get into the mood, every one watch ireland v italy in the rugby six nations kick off 1.30pm this match is for the championship and start the day in the bars all over ireland

I adore that picture! Definitely one of my favorites! I believe utterly that it's very flattering; what I don't quite believe is that it's 'so me'.

I would lay a bet that Ireland vs. Italy will not be available here State side, unless you do some sort of Pay per view (I know my Directv will offer matches like this sometimes)-
