The walmart store i work at sold more than 100 serenity DVDs in first 5 days, from what i was told. we had the UMD version, sold out of that. sold out widescreen on day 2. got more in :)
the numbers are not dropping off around my area.

I told my managers about the movie and they played it in electronics on the bigscreens from day one.

Keep those fingers crossed and keep telling people about the movie.
