I am a loyal browncoat, and I am in a jam! for Serenity's premier in September I would love to wear A Malcom Reynolds costume! The problem is, I get colors mixed up (not exactly colorblinded but close enough to make my life difficult) Anyway, I need to know the colors of the pants, shirt, boots, suspenders, and the jacket, well of course it's BROWN, but what type of jacket is it, and are there shades of brown? i wanna get as close to exact as I can, and i need your help! also, like if I were to walk into a store, what type of Jacket and pants are they? i'm sure i'll have to put the stripe on the sides of the pants by myself, so the color of the stripe would be helpful also! thanx sooooooo much! you guys rock!

The type of jacket is either a 3/4 length or long coat. Shades that should do just fine are burgundy, rust, or brick. Very deep red/browns.

The shirts he wears are deep red, dark blue, or dark grey, depending on the episode. The suspenders are a medium brown. The pants themselves are tan or khaki riding pants, by the looks of things. And the boots are black riding boots, suitably aged and scuffed.

So take that list and a good friend and go a-shoppin'!
