Does anyone else wish that the captions on the Firely Dvd said the Chinese words instead of sayin "speaking chinese"?

Opps, i made a boo boo, my subject was way too long so i shortened it, but accidentally created a new thread and it wont change the subject so i really quickly thought of this on, sorry for the inconvenience. ok, I feel that this is the greatest relationship that could never work. Not to be pessimistic, but could anyone be in a serious relationship with a companion? Or a war veteran who seems to have lost hope? Maybe since Inara complains about not finding work she'll give it up, we will see in April perhaps. But for the sake of discussion what are your theories and Opinions?

Yeah, I think Mal and Inara, much as we'd all like to see it happen, couldn't get together for the long haul unless two things happened:

1. Inara stops being a companion - I think that Mal would just get very jealous of other men if Inara were to companion (can I use companion as a verb?) other men.

2. Mal finds some new form of hope - If Mal were to find a new form of hope, it would likely leave him more open to a relationship with Inara - they both want it, but Mal (as is) wouldn't likely act upon it.

However, it's unlikely that those two things WOULD happen - Inara doesn't want to be a space-housewife, she wants to travel, meet people, companion (that verb again...). Similarly, Mal is unlikely to find some new form of hope, as he has indeed lost all hope, and is unlikely to find it. At Serenity Valley, his belief in God, his ideals, his hope were all lost, and it's unlikely that it'll change.

As I read this, I was thinking that maybe the verb 'accompany' would be better. Now I reckon that whenever I hear someone say that they are accompanying somebody, I'll be thinking that they're . Damn my brain.
