Moments that threw you for a loop!

I was wondering if there were any moments in any episodes that made people stop for a moment and stare. I was watching Bushwhacked and the part where Mal tells Jayne, Simon and Book to go and deal with the bodies on the other ship, he says that there is "no reason to concern them with what is to be done.". My absolute first impulse was to think that he was going to execute the survivor to spare him, but of course, he was refering to the trap the reavers had set.

Does anyone have any more?
