If anybody watches "Up All Night", they made reference to Firefly on their Swinger episode. They actually had a rain stick. I guess Big Bang Theory Isn't the only show who has a Firefly admirer.
They also mention the Waffle House from "Dead Like Me" if you watched that show.

I had a good laugh at everyone's expression when they turn the rainstick upright and listen to the beads drop.
If you want to watch the episode, NBC and HULU websites probably still have it available. That is where I watch them.
