A friend in England tells me he can't find the show in his video format. (Can that be? HOW??) Can anybody help point me (& him) to what he so desperately needs?
Thx
Gene

I'm in the US, but a quick look at Amazon UK finds this:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Firefly-Complete-DVD-Nathan-Fillion/dp/B0001B3
YTM/ref=sr_1_1?s=dvd&ie=UTF8&qid=1290657156&sr=1-1

Region 2, PAL format.
Looks like they also have Serenity plus BluRays of both.

Actually, we don't have Firefly on Blu-ray over here. Bah.

Yeah, I didn't find the firefly DVDs too hard to find at all. If they're not in the local store an online place like amazon will have them. The Blu-Rays just never got released here, which is dumb, but if I remember correctly the US set is not region locked and will play in the UK. I just keep forgetting to pick some up while I'm there.

I stand corrected...well, damn that sucks. Are there any plans for a BluRay release?

I can confirm that the US Firefly Blu-ray set is region free. I have a multi-region player but I tried my discs on another player and they played fine.
It would probably be cheaper from the US anyway even if it was available.
