America loves a winner!

Don't know how many got to catch this neat special on the Sci Chennel. It's about the search for intelligent life on other planets, as well as simply finding habitable planets around distant stars.

I was surprised when they started identifying stars with planets orbiting them. Now they are able to get the approximate size and orbit of these planets. I guess it will only be a short while before they start finding planets that could support life. I'm still amazed at the data we are getting back from our Mars explorers.
