Introduce yourself and make your reputation fact!

Didn't see an "introductions" board so here we go.

How's it goin eh? (in best Doug Mckenzie voice) Relatively new to the "Browncoat" community and for some reason can't get the series out of the DVD player....imagine that. Really dig this site and enjoy the mistique and loyalty of the fans to the series. It is awesome the devotion that is to be found here. Good people, good site...good times, good times!

Serving in the Air Force right now (sorta a Browncoat) been in 15 years and currently in the middle east. Originaly from SoCal now stationed in Texas. Here to hold the line.....

Well, nice ta meetcha, Browncoat!

Thanks, in the real world sense, for your service to your country, and, the world. Surely, you, like every other member of the military services, would much rather be home than in the sandbox, but, you're doin' the job most of us (myself, included) wouldn't want to have to do.

I'm Raycheetah, Browncoat old-timer (at my wife's urging, saw "The Train Job" at its first airing), wise-guy, and loudmouth. I post here, SciFi.com ( http://forums.scifi.com/index.php?showforum=80), Universal HD's Firefly board ( http://boards.nbcuni.com/universalHD/index.php?showforum=4), the Original Board ( http://forums.prospero.com/foxfirefly/start), and on SerenityMovie.net, ( http://fireflydvd.com/phpBB2/index.php), and, so far, have avoided lynching for being perhaps far too cheerful about our BDS and other aspects of Browncoat fandom.

In Real Life, I have way too gorram much time on my hands, so, I apply myself to creative endeavors (poetry, hobby modelling, etc.) for my personal amusement. I have a profile, here; while it contains no profound revelations, it might shed some additional light on what I'm like.

Anyway, always nice to meet another new Browncoat. Who's next?

Welcome Gorramreever! I lurked for a long time before I posted here...It seems we get more folks here every week! Firefly is a phenom and unique in that its fan base is GROWING instead of diminishing as time passes. And growing not in the "oh, that was a nice program, too bad it got canceled," kinda way...but more in the "JEEZE WHAT WERE THEY THINKING CANCELING THIS SHOW??!!" I am like many here who never knew the program existed while it was on television, but found it through the moving, "Serenity" - for which I will be eternally grateful to Universal. Hope you'll continue to be a part of this site! And thank you for your service to this country; means everything to all of us, even if we don't express our gratitude enough.

Not really Texan....just stationed there!!LOL! Abilene. Not a Cowboys fan, go Chiefs! Not an Astros/Rangers fan....GO ANGELS. Stars should still be in Minnesota.....GO DUCKS!!! The area is nice though......that said, can I still be a Browncoat?? LOL!
