Fellow browncoats

Whats the status with the DVD sales? has it been killing?

I know now that it is September and the time for Universal to make a decision is coming close.

So how are we looking? Are the sales big? is there talk at the water coolers?

Please give me some good news

DARKFLY

Firefly DVD sales have passed the 1 million mark recently with it still regurly in the top 100 Amazon DVD's currently at no.87,

Serenity DVD Sales last time I heard were about 700,000 but that was like 6 months ago so must be around the 1 million mark now, currently ranked no.892 on Amazon DVD ranks.

Serenity CE DVD sales are unknown all I know is that it made it to the number 3 spot on Amazon on it's first week of release, currently ranked no.91 on Amazon DVD ranks.

And the Serenity HD-DVD sales are completely unknown to me but was the first ever HD-DVD to get to take the HD-DVD no.1 spot, currently on Amazon it's ranked no.1,041 in DVD ranks which is pretty good for an HD-DVD.

Universal releasing the Collector's Edition alone suggests they are pondering the thought of Serenity 2 even Joss Whedon himself said basically the chances of a Serenity 2 lay with the sales of the Serenity Collector's Edition.
