I found the link to the "Drive" petition. Browncoats Unite to save this really great show. Nathan is great in this role and deserves to have a shot at finishing an incredible storyline. Fox cheated us out of Firefly, let's not allow them to cheat us again!!

Bring it back! Let 'em at least finish the first season for cryin' out loud! A show all about America's favorite things: Muscle cars, conspiracies, racing, family... It just needs a chance to catch on.

Whether it's worth digging in and fighting for aside, can we be realistic for a moment about the nature of online petitions? They don't really work. You want a show to be uncancelled it takes more than some e-signatures. If five million viewers aren't enough, a few hundred signatures certainly won't be. A few thousand wouldn't be. It would take millions and millions of people signing a petition, not only begging for the show back, but promising they'd watch it, along with its attendant advertising, every week.
I'm sorry the show got canned. I didn't get to watch it (work schedule bad for watching any TV shows, aside from not having any decent reception in my house) but it would have been nice if they had given it some kind of shot. But the numbers weren't there, they freaked about the ratings drop of 24, and they axed it. The word was spread all over the internet. It's still in the 'featured profiles' section of myspace (or was as of last night) and everyone here who was able to watched it and told others about it. The numbers still wasn't there. It's a shame, it's the truth, and an online petition isn't going to change it. Sorry.

Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.

Guys, you're more than entitled to your opinion, it's an open forum. But some people think this show is worth saving, and naysaying to the contrary isn't going to stop them, if that is indeed what you're aiming for. Not looking to start a fight here, but I just hope you look on the other side of things.

Yes let us atleast see how it ends. Im not interested in yet another show that doesnt know when to quit (like lost and prison break) but I would like to see them get to the finish line.

Oh and... why in the name of some diety or other are they surprised by the low ratings of 24??? I mean the show has gone on now with the same things season after season, it was fun the first two times, but now its getting old. Playin' it safe might bite you in the arse in the end, FOXs seems to have forgotten that.

We all know that petitions will not bring shows back, but I think signing them is important if only to show your support for the show. There is no harm in signing it, why not do it?
