We did pretty good this year. Book's secret swept that category, and Serenity came in second, 0.4% behind the Delorean from Back to the Future. Wash's death came in third in the "Dumbest Death" category, but that's OK, 'cause his death wasn't dumb, anyway; it meant a lot.

I am so proud.

PHOENIXROSE

You think you know--what's to come, what you are. You haven't even begun.

Yeah, I'm a little mad at that Kyle guy for a few things he said. Such as: "Wrong choices can be made anytime, and in certain situations, due to the reflex reactions on the part of a manic-minded majority, a winner is chosen completely by virtue of the involvement of a fan-favorite element in said choice." and "a pretty lame choice won here almost certainly because the answer to this secret is only in the head of Firefly creator Joss Whedon's head, and I think way too many people are constantly wondering about what is going on in Joss Whedon's head. Creepy!" (dude needs a proofreader, too) and also "in the future, I and the rest of the staff will ensure that you will get only the best of choices in your Mutant Awards, and not Whedon-tainted wins."
What the hell? Really! I think it's the only one that we even took first on, and for that ONE win it's only because of the Whedon fans? It really gets to me when people act like if you're a Whedon fan you can't think for yourself and just think he's God and will follow like a little sheep. It gives us a bad name, and no matter how many times we show it's untrue, there will be people like this idiot to come in and say "Well, they're just insane fans, but there's nothing to this, really." ARG!
