I posted on another board I frequent about UNIHD airing Firefly tonight.

One of my fellow Red Raiders (Texas Tech University) watched the show for the first time tonight, and bought the series and the BDM DVD's after the show was over.

I was pretty impressed that he made the purchase after only one viewing of an episode!

So put one more check mark in the fan list.

I have a potential recruit too... I asked the new minister at my church if he'd ever heard of Firefly and he said 'yes', then went on to tell me he loved Buffy & Angel and had enjoyed other SciFi series in the past but had never seen Firefly!

I'm lending him my precious DVDs this week...

I've got a good feeling about this!

At my last appointment, I told my psychiatrist about the series and film. I knew he would be interested because he had talked previously about how he and his sons were big fans of sci-fi. I told him about the basic concept and how it was a sci-fi/western and... HOW IT IS THE GREATEST SHOW EVER MADE!

He seemed very interested and said he would check it out on Amazon.com. And from the way he talked, it looks like we've got outselves yet another recruit.
