..."Big Name Stars in FF: Discuss" thread, but if ever there was an argument against letting even relatively minor stars in the door, The Shield is it.

There, you have a great ensemble cast of Used to Be Unknowns doing an incredible job, and Forest Whittaker blunders in, slicing the ham so thick, Jim Carrey would blush.

What on earth does he think he's doing? Thesping all over the shop. It's like he's in a different show altogether.

(Of course my argument fails when a real actor gets involved - Glenn Close instantly "got" the way The Shield operates, and she ruled. Briefly.)
