I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere, but I found another Star Wars ship in Firefly (Besides the Mobquet that's in Shindig and War Stories)

Just as Inara is coming in to dock on Persephone in the pilot episode, a Lambda-Class shuttle takes to the sky in the background. I flies up vertically, levels out and lowers its wings into the distinctive shape.

Nifty, huh.

It's been noticed, thanks for sharing though, many people miss these things

For instance in the pilot for the New Battlestar Gallactica when the minister of education soon to be president is meeting the doctor, Serenity flies overhead...

So, you noticed that too, eh? I did a double take when I saw it! I never noticed it when they aired Serenity on the network that shall not be named. It was an interesting ad-in.

I only noticed it because when I was younger I had an obsession with the way those things switched to flight mode, so very elegant. Theres an A-Wing in War Stories too by the way, but its painted differently.
