Need help with a half remembered quote

Here's a challenge to see how many people remember the whole of Firefly word for word!

I'm trying to remember a quote that Mal made at one time but since I can't remember which episode it was in (Oh, the shame!) I'm having trouble looking it up. It was something about history being written by the winners, or being what people make it or something about history anyway!!

I know this is a bit vague but if someone could help me out here it would really help with a story I'm writing.

The alternative would be to sit down and watch every episode of Firefly again (which I obviously need to do till I can remember it better!). Oh what a hard life!!

I can't recall the exact quote, but I think you are referring to the moment in the movie after River finds Miranda in the database and they are discussing the implications of the history of the planet being wiped out.

Duh, (Sorry, I forgot for a moment I could look up the quote.) Checking the Visual Companion...

Since Mal is also credited with "Goverments are a body of people usually, notably ungoverned" which is another Marx quote, could the above be it?
