So I am making a super shiny axe like the one river uses at the end of serenity. I have the dress and the boots made as well, i just need to get this axe outta here. And I was wondering if any of you have any ideas.

I am plannin on making it out of some scrap sheet metal I had laying around, but I have no idea as how to cut the shapes out. I have a Drimmle tool... and I know they cut metal but I dunno if I want to spend 60 hours on one side of an axe. FYI i can't afford to buy welding equipment either.

I also need to know what the demnsions should be. i have it right now at 10 inches wide and from tip to handle 21 inches long. Does that sound about right?

If I had a scanner I would post my patterns for it but i don't.

If all you need is the one thing you might try your local high schools metal shop. They probably won't let you do it there but they might be willing to have one of the students do it.

yeah, its a good idea. I would feel kinda akward going back to a highschool. I hated it enough when I was there. I will check it out tomorrow. Thank you.
