anyone like this band? Before I was introduced to the jossy goodness of firefly i never made the connection but I think BB is a fan of the verse. So much in fact, that they made a song called 'firefly'.

read the lyrics and tell me if you can see a connection:

Granted, the lyrics are VERY general so it's hard to pick on certain ques but i think that's why they wrote it that way- it makes sense to the average fan but now i can make connections to the show also.

Oh My!!!! Finally... A fellow browncoat with a penchant for Breaking Benjamin!! Yup! I've been a fan of BB since day one. I was browsing through Best Buy one time and this really cool song was playing on the intercom. I asked around and found out about the cd and needless to say.... I've been listening to them ever since. I hear that they're working on their 3rd full length album and it should be hitting the stores soon.They also have an EP which has a couple of new tracks.... one of which is LADYBUG which I think is their best song so far. This is just SHINY!!! Now... I'm not the only browncoat that believes that most of their songs can easily qualify for a FIREFLY soundtrack kinda thing.

that might be it because on all the cds that i have of theirs they do spinoffs of old movie songs and old folk songs

Yes, two of my favorite things in the verse in the same place. I've been hooked on breaking Benjamin since I played "Run Like Hell". Cool story, the day Serenity came out back to back on the radio they played BB "firefly" and God Smack's "Serenity". I know it wasn't on purpose but it was still gorram great.
