Hi, gang.

We've all gotten pretty riled up about what many of us are percieving as an attack on our Serenity Day plans by the SerenityNow/EqualityNow organizers.

Time to take a deep breath and think about what we're doing.

Equality Now is a beautiful cause and sadly, an essential one in our world today. Supporting the cause of equality for women around the globe, stopping barbaric acts such as FGM, helping them win the right to vote, and getting them the medical care, and same rights to own property, gain education, and live their lives as they chose is VITAL!

Now, SerenityNow is a GREAT plan! But it isn't enough. Too many of us live in places too far away to attend one of the charity screenings.

SO, here and now, in the name of SerenityNow/EqualityNow, what else can we do to support the cause?

Anything we do for SerenityNow/EqualityNow is also going to draw attention to Firefly & Serenity and the size of our fanbase. So for the purpose of June 23rd we consider that a special bonus in addition to helping the cause.
