Everyone person I turn Firefly/Serenity onto loves it. I find an abundant amount of interest/websites/great reviews.

I just don't get why the reluctance to remake the series/movie from the industry.

Netflix has a lot of five star reviews from members.

I'm just confused how not remaking the series is not a slam dunk, obvious decision to do so.

To think of all the trash/garbage on TV and such a gem as this is not brought back at once.

Maybe the plot hits a nerve for the corporate paymasters.....

STDOUBT

I like to muse that it's the anti-imperialist
aspect of the story arc that has some people
in a twist. The government IS the bad guy.

A few times watching the series, and especially
during the movie, I was hit by parallels between
the story and my own perceptions of the state of
my nation. You think the world is afraid of the
U.S.? Try being one of it's subjects. It's just
gettin' eerier and eerier tell you what.
