River My Turn, Browncoat, Logo Shirts-Mall Hot Topic stores! I hoped it wasn't just the store near me...and it isn't!

I went to buy another Serenity logo shirt at the Hot Topic store at the mall and on the shelf below under some other shirts was the River My Turn shirts. On another shelf was the Browncoat I Aim to Misbehave shirt. Whoo-hoo! They even got more sizes in the logo shirt. They originally had only X-Large and Medium. They just got them in.

Check your Hot Topic stores! This is official Universal Merchandise. I'm keeping the little square Serenity logo paper tag that comes with the shirt. It says Serenity c Universal Studios. Licensed by Universal Studios.

The Hot Topic names of the shirts on the receipt and Hot Topic shirt tag are
SERENITY LOGO 272754004
SERENITY BROWNCOAT 211458004
SERENITY MY TURN 250189004

I do not know if this is the SKU # or if it is the same #s across the country

I also found Serenity The Official Movie Magazine at a Waldenbooks. Some stores still have them. Serenity stuff is waiting on the shelves for you to find.

Some Suncoast stores have Serenity posters left and Serenity The Offical Movie Magazine.

Also Best Buy now has a Serenity end-cap display. I think that is what it is called when they have a poster of the DVD on the end of a row and the DVDs sitting in wire pockets alongside the poster. Ask if they throw the poster out...maybe you can have it when they are done with it.

Hot Topic shirts, I'm afraid, aren't currently universally distributed. :( My local store did not receive any in their recent shipments as of 12282005.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

I got my Serenity logo shirt on Thursday, 12/22. The clerk asked me what Serenity was, so of course I stood there for about 10-12 minutes giving her the short version of Firefly, the cancellation & the rebirth as Serenity. She seemed really enthused as she is a big Buffy fan.

They did not have the other two shirts yet, but the clerk said they may have them today or tomorrow. That just gives me an excuse to go in & see if she has checked out the series DVD yet. If not I can tell her Wal Mart has the series for $19.86 now.
